CME Strategic Plan
As part of its mission, the Office of Continuing and
Community Education develops and implements a CME Strategic
Plan each year for the School of Medicine. Listed below are
the priority areas of care for 2009. In addition to
encouraging departments and divisions to offer CME
activities in these priority areas, the Office also offers
journal-based
CME options to faculty in these same areas. The Office
will evaluate the impact of its strategic plan each January
using time-trended, performance data. Based on that
evaluation, the Office will consider changes to the
strategic plan for the next year. For more information about
