The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provides
quarterly data from all payers for nearly all acute care
hospitals across the United States. Currently, the data
includes hospital performance in the following areas of
adult patient care:
- Acute myocardial infarction,
- Heart failure,
- Pneumonia, and
- Surgical care improvement/Surgical infection
prevention.
